Lara Bakker, Assoc. AIA, is a FOCUS ON ENERGY® Project Manager for Energy Design Assistance. In this capacity she works with design teams, building owners, and utilities to improve building performance through energy modeling and analysis. Lara partners with energy specialists to assist owners and design teams in choosing optimal energy-saving strategies for buildings across Wisconsin. Her expertise is engaging the owner and design team early to help them meet and exceed energy efficiency goals—a passion for bringing people together and bridging real-world hurdles. Lara has over five years of experience in the commercial building industry working for several architecture and engineering firms in Wisconsin.
